Control what messages ExamDiff Pro will show in different situations.

Dialog Box Options

Message about identical text files

Show the message that compared text files are identical, instead of always showing files in text file comparison panes.

Message about different text files

Show the message that compared text files are different, instead of always showing files in text file comparison panes.

Message about identical binary files

Show the message that compared binary files are identical, instead of always showing files in binary file comparison panes.

Message about different binary files

Show the message that compared binary files are different, instead of always showing files in binary file comparison panes.

Message about identical directories

Show the message that compared directories are identical, instead of always showing directories in directory comparison panes.

Message about different directories

Warning about losing Undo/Redo after certain actions on modified files

Show the warning that all Undo/Redo information will be lost after certain actions.

Message about too many differences to display in the diff combo box

Show the message that number of differences exceeds 10000, and that not all differences would be added to the combo box.

"Some comparison options have changed" message

Show the message after the Options Dialog is closed and some options that may affect comparison results have changed.

Prompt to re-compare when "Use Status/Path View Filter" commands are used

Prompt to re-compare files/directories if the "Use Status View Filter" or "Use Path View Filter" command is used after one or both files/directories were modified.

Prompt to re-compare when directory filter is changed

Prompt to re-compare files when filters where changed in the directory comparison context menu.

"No newline at the end of file" message

Show the warning if there is no newline character at end of text file.

"Comparison too slow?" balloon message

Show the balloon message with hints on how to make comparison faster if file or directory comparison takes longer than 30 seconds, and there are way to improve the speed.

Regular expression messages during comparison

Show the messages generated by the regular expression engine during comparison.

Prompt to delete empty directories after deleting their contents

Prompt whether to delete directories that become empty after their contents are deleted. If this option is unchecked, the most recent response is remembered ("No" by default).

Change notification balloons

Show the balloon messages when a compared file or directory is changed outside of ExamDiff Pro. These balloon messages are only shown when change notifications are set to Monitor in Options | Misc.
