Toolbar Button

Spawn a dialog box to perform a search in the pane currently in focus.

Dialog Box Options

Find what
Enter text to search for.

Match case
Find only text having the given pattern of uppercase and lowercase letters.

Match whole word only
Find only occurrences of the text as a whole word.

Regular Expression
In text file comparison panes, you can use regular expressions to specify a search string.

Wrap search
Continue searching after reaching the top or the bottom (depending on the search direction).

Direction
Specify whether you wish to search up or down from the current cursor position.

Find Next
Begin the Find operation.

Bookmark All
Place a bookmark on all lines that contain matching text (this command is available only for text file comparison).

Cancel
Close the dialog.
